City of Champions Independence Day Celebration July 3rd City of Massillon-City Hall Facebook linkPlease join us in celebrating our nations birthday! There will be food, music, free kids activities, and breathtaking fireworks courtesy of Aqua Ohio. We will have the Lil' Miss Liberty & Li'l Uncle Sam Pageant. Follow the event page for the latest updates and news. Bortner Shows will be bringing the Kiddie Ferris Wheel next week and more!! We will also have the Lion's Club train!! These will all be free activities for the kids! Fireworks start at 10 pm.

Details: The day kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with our annual community parade, which features an eclectic mix of everything from vintage cars, tractors, dance troupes, and displays from various community groups and organizations. The parade represents those from all walks of life and provides a reflection of North Canton’s unified spirit. We encourage businesses, churches, organizations, school groups, and any individuals in the community to participate.
The parade runs along Seventh Street Northeast to Main to Harmon before ending at North Canton Middle School. For more information: click here.
N. Canton Community Celebration & Fireworks Display Thu Jul, 04 2019 at 07:00 pm
Hoover High School, North Canton, Ohio Later in the evening, we’ll gather again on the lawn in front of Hoover High School along Seventh Street for our annual community celebration. This family-friendly event will feature live music, food vendors, face painting by the Hudson Jaycees, a 50/50 raffle, children’s activities and much more. And, of course, we’ll get ready to light up the night sky just after dusk with a spectacular fireworks display! Bring your blanket, family and friends to this most patriotic of celebrations! All activities will take place on the lawn of Hoover High School along Seventh Street Northeast. Parking is available at Hoover High School. Please note the lot next to the stadium along Seventh Street is closed to ensure everyone’s safety during the fireworks. Starting at 7 p.m., The Half Fast Band will take the stage. Journey back in time with us as this local trio plays all of your favorite rock hits from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. For more information: click here.
