Aloha Families!

Welcome to your N. Canton, Ohio paradise vacation (off of Whipple).

"Aloooooha"- did you know this familiar Hawaiian greeting is filled with compassion and affection according to Wikipedia?  Goldfish Swim School is just that- a kind and friendly staff who care about the safety and progress of each child who enters.

You are immediately greeted with colorful walls and decor as your enter your 90 degree paradise.  The air may perhaps be in the 80's...but the pool is a crisp 90 degrees.  No more complaining about freezing while waiting their turn for swim lessons.  It is noted that there is never a long wait as they keep the class size to 4 students per 1 teacher.  The first class my son had there were three students and 2 teachers!

"Aloha families!" is how students are called to their classes.  There are at least 2 lifeguards on duty in addition to the swim instructors who are all dressed appropriately in high cut orange swim T-shirts in the pool.  Everything is easily labeled and organized.  Once the children are in the pool- parents can sit back and enjoy their paradise (a break).  There is a colorful sea life mural covering the length of the pool wall as well as thatched roofs, a large fish tank and plastic palm trees to enhance your paradise and relax to.  There is coffee or tea to sip on while aloha really sinks in.

......."Aloha families!" -greetings again by staff letting us know that it is time for class to end and to pick up our children from their pleasant swim.  Something new is that the teacher actually discusses what they did in class and has our children take turns demonstrating it.  This is done after each lesson!  There are plenty of high fives and fist bumps to praise efforts and accomplishments.

Once you drag your child out of the warm pool because they never want to leave, and desire to "live in there and eat and play and sleep there"- paradise continues with a dozen or so warm showers with baby soap available.  They also have over a dozen dressing rooms outside of the pool area and hair dryers available with surf board benches.

When the cold is getting to you- you can find a warm Aloha waiting for you at Goldfish Swim.
